Care plan write‑back settings help you control which updates care workers can make from the worker screen. By adjusting these options at a user level, you can ensure workers are only prompted to record changes that are relevant to their role and responsibilities.

Available write‑back settings

Depending on what you want the user to complete, you can enable or disable the following settings:

Visit.ApplyChangesToCarePlan

Prompts the user to write back changes to planned start time, planned duration, and preferred worker.

Visit.ApplyChangesToCarePlanUpdateDistance

Prompts the user to write back changes to planned mileage.

Visit.ApplyChangesToCarePlanUpdateTravel

Prompts the user to write back changes to planned travel details.


Enable or disable a setting

To enable or disable the write-back settings, follow these steps:

  1. Click Settings, then click Application Settings.

  2. Search for or locate the required setting name.

  3. Double‑click the value next to the setting:

    • Set it to true to enable.

    • Set it to false to disable.

  4. Log out and back in for the changes to take effect.

Repeat these steps for each user account as needed.
