After Business Manager is migrated to a new server, any existing desktop shortcuts may stop working. This happens because the shortcut still points to the old server location.
Before you begin, you need access to:
The new shared folder location that contains the Business Manager shortcuts.
Your Desktop.
Remove old shortcuts
Before creating new shortcuts, remove any old ones:
On your Desktop, find the existing Business Manager shortcut.
Right‑click the shortcut.
Click Delete.
Repeat this for any other Business Manager shortcuts that are no longer working.
Create the new desktop shortcut
Once the old shortcuts are removed:
Navigate to the shared folder location you were given for the new server.
Find the Business Manager shortcut.
Right‑click the shortcut, then click Copy.
Go back to your Desktop.
Right‑click, then click Paste.
