Fatal error accessing Business Manager

You may see fatal errors, SQL errors, or RemoteApp errors when opening Business Manager through the cloud‑hosted site. These errors often occur if a session times out, disconnects due to inactivity, or the Remote Desktop connection doesn’t establish correctly.

Common error messages

  • Fatal error when loading the application.

  • 'Could not connect to database'.

  • 'The login is from an untrusted domain'.

  • RemoteApp fails to load or closes unexpectedly.


First steps to take

First, follow these steps to try to resolve the error:

  1. Sign out of the CHS web portal.

  2. Close the browser completely.

  3. Wait five minutes.

  4. Open the site again and try signing in.


Use a different browser

If the issue continues, follow these steps:

  1. Open a different web browser. For example, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.

  2. Sign in again.


Desktop RemoteApp shortcut

If you use a desktop shortcut, follow these steps:

  1. Restart your computer.

  2. After the restart, open Business Manager using the desktop shortcut.

  3. Sign in as usual.
